Angiography also called arteriography is defined as projection radiography.

It has since then been developed significantly in order to make it more safe and effective. The variations  have been developed a Color DSA and  3 D DSA .

The imaging procedure output is known as angiogram. A catheter is used to inject the chemical agent in the coronary artery to be scanned.
